Key Responsibilities
- Manage patient scheduling, appointment coordination, and outreach
- Support check-in/check-out and waiting room operations
- Process referrals, forms, prior authorisations, and prescription renewals
- Track follow-ups and ensure accurate patient data management
- Support onboarding and training of support staff
- Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to improve workflow and patient experience
- Assist with reporting, quality initiatives, and departmental projects
- Handle escalated patient queries with professionalism and empathy
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year experience in healthcare administration or customer service
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office and scheduling/EMR systems
- Ability to multitask in a busy healthcare environment
Preferred
- Experience with Epic or similar EMR systems
- Medical office administration background
- Strong problem-solving and patient management skills
