Our client, a premier global management consultancy, is seeking a high-caliber Business Process Analyst to join their Financial Services practice in D.C. This is a pivotal role designed for a professional who excels at deconstructing complex organizational workflows and rebuilding them for maximum efficiency.
You will act as the bridge between high-level business objectives and technical execution, working directly with stakeholders to modernize legacy systems, improve data-intensive workflows, and support large-scale digital transformations.
The Role:
- Strategic Mapping: Lead the development of "As-Is" and "To-Be" process models using BPMN, UML, or IDEF standards.
- Stakeholder Facilitation: Drive requirements-gathering workshops and interviews with both executive leadership and technical teams.
- Modernization Support: Align business processes with emerging technologies, cloud migrations, and data pipeline enhancements.
- Performance Metrics: Define KPIs to measure the success of process improvements and change management initiatives.
- Agile Integration: Utilize Scrum/Kanban frameworks and tools like Jira/Trello to manage project lifecycles.
Candidate Requirements:
- Education:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 8 years of professional experience in process analysis/improvement, with at least 3 years in a leadership or project-lead capacity.
- Domain Expertise: Proven track record in financial services, economic consulting, or data-heavy analytical environments.
- Methodology: Proficiency in Six Sigma, Kaizen, CMMI, or BPM methodologies.
- Governance: Experience working within decentralized or federated organizational structures.
- Citizen Status: Must be a US Citizen due to government contract requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Active professional certification (e.g., CBPP, PMI-PBA, PMP, or Six Sigma Black Belt).
Deep familiarity with platform rationalization and model lifecycle processes.
Exceptional "storytelling" ability—translating complex data into executive-ready visualizations and presentations.
