The Role
As a Data Scientist, you will work closely with project leadership and stakeholders to collect, analyse and transform complex datasets into actionable insights. You will be involved in data preparation, predictive modelling, dashboard development and AI-driven solutions that support operational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
• Collect, clean and analyse large and complex datasets
• Perform ETL processes and data transformation activities
• Develop predictive models and advanced analytical solutions
• Design and build interactive dashboards and visualisations
• Support the implementation of AI and automation solutions
• Create performance metrics, reports and client deliverables
• Work closely with project leads and stakeholders to support programme objectives
• Translate analytical findings into meaningful business insights and recommendations
• Contribute to data quality, governance and process improvement initiatives
About You
• Active and current Secret Security Clearance
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years' experience in data analysis or data science
• Strong programming skills in Python or R
• Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Qlik
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within client-facing environments
Desirable Experience
• Databricks development and data pipeline creation
• Palantir Foundry
• UiPath or Microsoft Power Automate
• Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate)
• Statistical modelling, regression analysis and predictive analytics
• Asset management, maintenance or logistics data environments
• Defence, military or government programmes
• Knowledge of Navy operations, supply chain or maintenance systems
