Director, Provider Data & Analytics

About the Role
A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Director, Provider Data & Analytics to oversee provider data operations, reporting, analytics, and credentialing functions for a health plan. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring provider data integrity across multiple systems, managing reporting requirements, supporting network operations, and leading a team responsible for provider data maintenance and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Provider Data department, overseeing provider setup, record maintenance, audits, and staff management.
- Manage the credentialing function in partnership with Quality Improvement (QI) to ensure seamless provider data accuracy.
- Develop, validate, and deliver state, regulatory, operational, and ad hoc reports.
- Oversee encounter reporting development, submission, and ongoing reporting requirements.
- Support the production of provider network and GeoAccess reports for regulatory submissions.
- Monitor data integrity across multiple systems and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Partner with Provider Relations, Claims, and Quality Improvement teams to address network and provider data issues.
- Develop operational dashboards, scorecards, and analytics to support business performance.
- Lead reporting initiatives that improve data quality and support strategic decision-making.
- Hire, coach, develop, and manage provider data team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 7 years of experience in provider data, healthcare analytics, health plan operations, or network management.
- Previous leadership experience managing teams, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
- Strong experience with provider data management, reporting, and data integrity.
- Experience producing regulatory and operational reports within a healthcare or managed care environment.
- Ability to collaborate across Provider Relations, Claims, Credentialing, and Quality Improvement teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $113,100 β $209,100 per year
