Our client is looking for an Analyst, Data – Health Plan Operations to support data-driven decision-making by developing analytical solutions, reports, and tools that enhance operational performance. This role focuses on analyzing structured and unstructured data, generating insights, and delivering actionable solutions for business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Insights
- Analyze large and diverse datasets to identify trends, patterns, and outliers that support business decision-making.
- Apply statistical and analytical techniques to solve operational and business challenges.
Reporting & Dashboard Development
- Design and develop reports, dashboards, and data visualization tools to monitor performance and key metrics.
- Prepare required regulatory and state-mandated reports and ensure data accuracy.
Process Improvement & Monitoring
- Establish processes for tracking, monitoring, and trending operational data.
- Identify opportunities to improve data quality, efficiency, and business outcomes through analytics.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into data solutions.
- Support the development and documentation of standard reporting processes and analytics solutions.
Technology & Tools
- Utilize analytics platforms and query tools to extract, transform, and analyze data.
- Stay up to date with emerging tools and technologies to enhance analytics capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or analytics-related roles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in data analytics, reporting, or healthcare operations environments.
