Our client is looking for a Manager, Member & Community Interventions to lead the design, execution, and continuous improvement of member‑centered programs that support clinical quality outcomes across Medicare, Medicaid, and Marketplace lines of business. This role focuses on driving data‑informed, evidence‑based initiatives that improve health outcomes while meeting regulatory and organizational standards.
Role Overview
The Manager will oversee a diverse portfolio of quality improvement initiatives aimed at engaging members and communities, strengthening partnerships, and delivering measurable clinical, operational, and financial results. This position collaborates extensively with internal departments and external community organizations to ensure successful program execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement data‑driven, evidence‑based quality initiatives aligned with state and federal requirements
- Manage a strategic portfolio of member and community quality programs across multiple lines of business
- Build and maintain partnerships with community‑based organizations to enhance clinical quality outcomes
- Define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators and program impact
- Lead and participate in cross‑functional program discussions with internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinate meetings, agendas, documentation, and follow‑up actions to ensure accountability and execution
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date program documentation and centralized intervention resources
- Ensure all materials and initiatives meet internal standards and regulatory approval requirements
- Collaborate with quality, healthcare services, and member engagement teams to improve clinical outcomes
- Support quality improvement initiatives through data analysis, process development, and implementation
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels in both corporate and regional environments
- Travel as needed, including same‑day or overnight travel depending on business and location needs
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Business, Nursing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 5–7 years of experience in managed care, with at least 4 years focused on quality improvement, clinical programs, or process optimization
- Strong operational experience using tools such as Excel and process‑mapping software
- Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence outcomes without direct authority
- Solid understanding of healthcare quality principles and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Demonstrated flexibility, problem‑solving ability, and conflict‑resolution skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing, Public Health, Social Work, Clinical Quality, or Healthcare Administration
- Experience with quality outreach programs, performance improvement initiatives, or HEDIS‑related activities
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience
- Project management and team development experience
- Background in performance measurement and outcomes tracking
- Professional certifications such as CPHQ or CHCA
- Active nursing license (RN) for applicable roles
