About the Role
We are seeking an Associate Clinical Research Coordinator to independently support clinical research studies through coordination, administration, and compliance activities. This role works closely with investigators and research leadership to ensure studies are conducted efficiently, ethically, and in line with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate research and administrative activities for one or more clinical studies
- Collaborate with investigators and supervisors to resolve study-related issues
- Support budgeting, billing, and financial tracking for research projects
- Maintain accurate study documentation and regulatory files
- Abstract and manage study data in accordance with protocols and GCP guidelines
- Provide backup support to other research coordinators as needed
- Communicate effectively with clinical staff, patients, and external stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree in science, healthcare, or a related field (or equivalent experience in research coordination)
- At least 1 year of experience or foundational knowledge of FDA regulations, GCP, and clinical research processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with medical terminology, human anatomy, and research protocols
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Proficiency with standard office software and Windows-based systems
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and diverse patient populations
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) or similar professional certification
