MARKETING PROJECT MANAGER

Overview

The Marketing Project Manager will support the Marketing team in operational organization and project management to ensure on-schedule delivery of marketing collateral and tradeshow planning and execution. This role is responsible for the strategic application of internal and external resources to meet project needs, communicating project status with all team members, marketing managers and directors, and other business unit leaders, and ensuring all deliverables meet production requirements (file setup, mechanical, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Assist with all aspects of trade show support including booth layout, material ordering, creative requests, communication with external vendors.
• Work closely with the Directors – Corporate Events & Marketing Operations, and Creative – to enforce and assist with creating efficiencies in departmental processes.
• Contribute to marketing execution for Sonny’s and its divisions.
• Manage relationships with third parties/vendors and coordinate external resources as needed.
• Provide regular reporting of project progress with key stakeholders; communicate with the graphic designers to ensure timely completion of deliverables including materials, schedules, and logistics for all trade shows as well as all printed marketing collateral.
• Collaborate with division management and other functional departments to ensure all relevant parties are up to speed on key initiatives including trade shows.
• Maintain detailed documentation in department Project Management software.
• Manage the printed collateral process from start to finish (gather printing quotes from approved vendors, quality control on file preparation, communicate lead times, deadlines, proof approval, delivery instructions, etc.)
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or related discipline.
• 2 years’ experience in marketing project and tradeshow management.
• Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills.
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills.
• Strong attention to detail; ability to spot errors and inconsistencies.
• Expertise in MS Office required.
• Knowledge of printing processes required.
• Knowledge of design software (Adobe Creative Suite) a plus.
• Available to travel as needed (up to 20%) to tradeshows.
