The Tax Manager will act as a trusted advisor to clients and a strategic resource to the firm, providing technical tax expertise, proactive planning, and thoughtful guidance across individual and business tax matters. This position requires strong technical acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced public accounting setting.

This position requires strong technical acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced public accounting setting.
Responsibilities of the Tax Manager:
- Review U.S. and multi-state income tax returns for C-corporations, S-corporations, partnerships, and fiduciary entities
- Review U.S. and state individual income and gift tax returns
- Prepare tax projections and support proactive tax planning for individual and business clients
- Conduct tax research and assist with complex tax matters and technical issues
- Communicate directly with clients and internal team members on tax-related matters
- Participate in consulting engagements and firm-wide special projects as needed
- 5 years of relevant public accounting tax experience
- CPA license preferred; EA will be considered
- Experience using UltraTax Virtual Office required
- Familiarity with New Hampshire tax law preferred
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and trial balance software
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
- Comfortable managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
