A well-established organization is seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst to join its payroll team on a temp-to-perm basis due to a long-term employee retirement. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to step into a highly visible role supporting a large, in-house payroll operation within a collaborative team environment. The Senior Payroll Analyst will play a key role in day-to-day payroll operations, supporting bi-weekly union and student payroll as well as semi-monthly staff payroll processing.
This individual will assist with payroll reconciliations, overpayment reviews, escalated payroll inquiries, approvals, and payroll-related reporting while partnering closely with payroll leadership and internal stakeholders. The role will also support payroll case management activities through ServiceNow and help ensure accurate and timely payroll processing across multiple pay groups. The ideal candidate will have strong Workday payroll experience, advanced Excel skills, and a solid understanding of payroll operations within a high-volume environment. Union payroll exposure is preferred, and candidates with prior leadership or managerial experience are highly encouraged to apply, although this is not a supervisory position.

Requirements
- Strong Workday payroll experience required
- Experience supporting high-volume bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll processing
- Advanced Excel skills and strong reconciliation experience

- Experience handling payroll escalations and case management systems such as ServiceNow is a plus
- Prior leadership or managerial exposure preferred
