As a Finance Senior Analyst, you will leverage your analytical skills and collaborative mindset to partner with Sales leadership in driving key business strategies within U.S. retail channels. This role provides visibility into financial opportunities, ensures the integrity of financial reporting, and evaluates profitability related to in-market investments and execution. You will also expand your professional network and expertise in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment while contributing to a high-performing retail sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Sales Operations, Planning, Category Leadership, and Marketing teams
- Drive automation and enhancement of reporting processes using business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Coordinate and compile monthly business performance commentary from Sales teams
- Assess financial viability and profitability of initiatives such as incremental investments, product launches, pricing strategies, and promotions
- Support development of joint business plans and strategic investment proposals, including customer negotiations
- Build and maintain customer- and SKU-level profit and loss (P&L) analyses
- Assist with annual planning, monthly forecasting, and financial reporting processes
- Develop and maintain financial controls to ensure accurate tracking of trade spend relative to budgets and forecasts
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 3 years of experience in FP&A, Sales Finance, Revenue Management, Consulting, or Investment Banking (consumer goods experience preferred)
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Experience working with large and sometimes ambiguous datasets
- Background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Ability to clearly synthesize and communicate complex information
- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
- High emotional intelligence and problem-solving capability
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with business intelligence and trade management tools (e.g., BW, IRI/Circana, Power BI, SAP, Vistex) preferred
Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000
Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
