A growing organization is seeking a Senior AI Solutions Engineer to build and deliver AI-native platforms within a modern, AI-driven engineering environment. Engineers work in small, domain-focused teams (3–5 members) that leverage AI across the entire software development lifecycle—from requirements generation and code creation to testing, deployment, and monitoring.
The Senior AI Solutions Engineer operates as an independent contributor who helps shape technical patterns, drives architectural decisions, and mentors junior team members while delivering complex solutions within a regulated insurance environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver AI-native applications and intelligent automation solutions that improve business workflows and user interactions.
- Build and evolve AI-driven development pipelines that automate coding, testing, security scanning, and deployment processes.
- Architect and implement cloud-native solutions on AWS, leveraging managed services and modern infrastructure patterns.
- Develop secure integrations between internal platforms and third-party SaaS applications.
- Own end-to-end solution delivery within a defined business domain, including architecture, development, deployment, and system reliability.
- Implement self-monitoring and self-healing capabilities to reduce operational overhead and improve system resilience.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering standards and technical best practices.
- Evaluate emerging AI tools, frameworks, and delivery practices to improve engineering efficiency and system capability.
- Ensure solutions meet security and compliance requirements, including HIPAA and SOC 2.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 4–7 years of software engineering experience, including recent work with AI-enabled development tools or AI-driven delivery practices.
- Experience designing and delivering cloud-native applications, preferably on AWS.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows, automated testing, and modern CI/CD practices.
- Experience building APIs and integration solutions using technologies such as REST or SOAP.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, C#, Java, or similar.
- Knowledge of security and authentication protocols such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, or SAML.
- Strong troubleshooting, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to team technical standards.
Compensation: $115,000-130,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
