Reporting to senior leadership, this individual will serve as a key liaison between Finance, IT, and external vendors, ensuring system reliability, scalability, and alignment with business objectives while mentoring team members and influencing long-term strategy.
Responsibilities of the Lead Financial Systems Administrator:
- Oversee administration of financial systems including OneStream XF (configuration, metadata, security, performance)
- Manage system upgrades, patches, workflows, and user access in collaboration with IT
- Design and develop advanced financial reports and dashboards for Accounting, FP&A, and Tax
- Lead data integrations between Oracle EBS, OneStream, and reporting tools
- Ensure data accuracy through reconciliations and SOX-compliant controls
- Identify inefficiencies and implement automation and process improvement initiatives
- Drive enhancements across both OneStream and Oracle EBS environments
- Lead training and enablement efforts to improve system adoption and user proficiency
- Act as liaison between Finance, IT, and external vendors to support system enhancements
- Lead complex projects and mentor junior team members
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management Information Systems
- 6–8 years of experience administering financial systems (ERP/EPM/CPM)
- Strong expertise in OneStream or similar EPM platforms (Hyperion, etc.)
- Solid understanding of financial reporting, planning, and accounting principles
- Experience with financial system integrations and data governance
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and present to senior leadership
- Ability to identify process inefficiencies and implement automation solutions
- Master’s degree
- Experience with Hyperion or similar platforms
- Technical skills in VBA and/or C#
