Information Technology Director

The IT Director of Business Alignment & Strategy serves as a key liaison between IT and the business, ensuring technology initiatives, digital transformation efforts, and IT capabilities align with enterprise goals. Reporting to the VP of IT, this leader translates business priorities into actionable technology strategies, drives portfolio alignment, and ensures delivery of high-impact initiatives that support growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Align IT strategy with business objectives; lead roadmap development, portfolio prioritization, and budget planning
• Translate business needs into scalable, secure technology solutions with measurable outcomes
• Oversee IT portfolio performance, resource allocation, and delivery of strategic initiatives
• Drive digital transformation and identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies
• Serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders and cross-functional leaders
• Lead demand management, governance processes, and vendor evaluation/selection
• Foster strong partnerships across business units to ensure alignment and execution
• Lead communication and change management efforts to support adoption of new technologies
• Build and develop high-performing teams, promoting a culture of accountability and collaboration
  
  
  

Qualifications

• 10 years of IT leadership experience in enterprise environments
• Proven ability to align technology strategy with business goals and drive large-scale initiatives
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets
• Experience with Agile and modern IT operating models
• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and digital transformation
  
  
  

Compensation: Up to $235,000 annually

Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
