Soni Resources is partnering with an ever growing apparel organization near Raritan, NJ, on the search for a Financial Analyst.
The Financial Analyst will support global financial planning and analysis by delivering meaningful insights into business performance, key operational drivers, and financial trends. This role is responsible for helping develop the overall financial narrative used by senior leadership to assess results, support decision-making, and communicate performance internally and externally.
Responsibilities:
- Support global FP&A activities by analyzing financial results, key business drivers, and operational trends to help leadership understand performance and support strategic decision-making
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes, including management reporting, variance analysis, dashboards, and executive presentations
- Help develop clear financial narratives that explain business performance, risks, opportunities, and outlook
- Partner with cross-functional finance and business teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning activities
- Assist with Board, executive leadership, and investor-related reporting to ensure consistent and accurate financial messaging
- Perform benchmarking, trend analysis, and ad hoc financial modeling to support business initiatives and identify opportunities for improvement
- Support process improvement efforts, reporting calendar management, and enhancement of financial reporting tools and processes
- Assist with special projects and other finance initiatives as needed
Skills:
- Strong financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting skills
- Ability to identify key business drivers and translate financial results into clear, concise insights
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a simplified manner
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective cross-functional relationships
- Experience with financial systems and reporting tools such as Oracle Hyperion, SAP Analytics Cloud, or similar platforms preferred
Experience:
- 2 - 3 years of experience in FP&A, financial reporting, corporate accounting, or public accounting
- Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes
- Experience working in a public company or public accounting environment preferred
- Experience preparing financial analysis for senior leadership and supporting strategic business decisions preferred
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required
- CPA, MBA, or other relevant certification preferred
Compensation: $75,000 - $90,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
