Our client is seeking a seasoned revenue cycle leader to guide end-to-end financial operations and strengthen cash flow across a growing organization. This person will shape strategy, refine workflows, and build high performing teams while driving measurable improvement across all stages of the revenue process. This role is based onsite in Austin, Texas.
What You’ll Lead
- Oversee all steps of the revenue cycle from entry through final payment.
- Improve core performance indicators including aging, claim quality, reimbursement speed, and collection effectiveness.
- Build dashboards and reporting that highlight trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Strengthen workflows and implement technology to increase efficiency and scalability.
- Identify payment gaps, underpayments, and payer-related issues to protect reimbursement.
- Direct denial prevention, analysis, and appeals to recover outstanding revenue.
- Support accurate coding and documentation to ensure appropriate payment.
- Manage billing partners, collections vendors, and clearinghouse relationships.
- Hold external partners accountable to operational and financial expectations.
- Lead optimization and integration of revenue cycle systems and tools.
- Ensure all processes comply with regulations, payer guidelines, and audit requirements.
- Collaborate with teams to improve documentation, verification, and forecasting inputs.
- Provide insights to leadership that influence operational and strategic decisions.
- Lead, coach, and develop staff while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required; 10 years in revenue cycle with in a healthcare setting experience
- Detail oriented, ethical leader with sound judgment and a commitment to accuracy.
- Proficient with revenue cycle platforms, reporting tools, and workflow technologies.
- Effective at managing competing priorities and leading process improvements in a fast-moving environment.
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to turn complex data into practical recommendations.
- Proven history of boosting cash flow, improving key performance metrics, and strengthening operational results.
- Strong command of end-to-end revenue cycle functions, payer rules, and reimbursement principles.
Compensation: $130,000 to $150,000 annually
Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other job-related qualifications.
