Soni is partnering with a publicly traded real estate organization to hire a Benefits Manager to take ownership of their employee benefits function. The Benefits Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of employee benefits programs, including health & welfare and retirement plans, while serving as the key point person on a major transition to a self-funded structure.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer all employee benefits programs (medical, dental, vision, retirement, etc.)
- Lead and support the transition from fully insured to self-funded benefits
- Oversee open enrollment and ongoing benefits lifecycle activities
- Partner with brokers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective plan management
- Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, and other regulations
- Support employee inquiries and provide guidance on benefits offerings
- Maintain and enhance benefits processes, reporting, and documentation
- Utilize HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now or similar) for administration and reporting
- 5 years of experience in benefits administration or management
- Experience working with self-funded benefits plans
- Experience supporting multi-state employee populations (~300 employees)
- Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS systems
- Strong understanding of benefits regulations (ERISA, ACA, COBRA, etc.)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and own the function
- Experience supporting a transition from fully insured to self-funded benefits
- Experience in a public company environment
- Exposure to retirement plan administration
- Process improvement mindset
