The Firm & Opportunity
My client is an AmLaw 10 and Vault 10 firm with one of the most recognized Private Funds practices in the world. The Fund Finance group sits at the center of that platform, representing leading fund sponsors across the full spectrum of fund-level financing, from inception through the later stages of a fund's life cycle. The team operates globally, with coverage spanning North America, Europe, South America, and Asia. This is a fully remote role supporting a cross-national team.
The Practice
This Fund Finance group advises on the broadest range of fund-level structures in the market — subscription and capital call facilities, NAV-based and hybrid liquidity financings, GP and management company credit lines, partner capital commitment programs, letter of credit facilities, and liquidity solutions for registered funds and BDCs. The client base includes the flagship funds of the world's leading private equity sponsors, and the deal structures the team works on are consistently among the most innovative in the space.
Associates here work directly with senior partners on complex, cross-border transactions and develop fluency across the capital structure in a way that few fund finance practices can offer. The group is known for its technical depth, its integration with the broader Private Funds platform, and a culture that treats associates as genuine contributors from day one.
Qualifications
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school; strong academic credentials
- 3–6 years of fund finance experience at a BigLaw firm
- Familiarity with subscription facilities, NAV structures, or fund-level credit documentation
- Comfort with complex, multi-party transactions and cross-border deal teams
- North Carolina Bar admission or eligibility, or willingness to waive in; California Bar or New York Bar admission a plus
