In collaboration with Women in Fund Finance (WFF), the Fund Finance Association (FFA) is seeking an enthusiastic Associate to help us plan, promote, and execute exciting events and programs that engage members in our Fund Finance Communities!
What You'll Do:
As an Associate, Marketing & Events, you'll be responsible for supporting the planning, promotion, and execution of events and programs for the Fund Finance Association (FFA). In working closely with the CMO, COO, and other senior members of the team, you will coordinate logistics, communications, and event marketing campaigns for the FFA and its ancillary groups including, but not limited to: NextGen, Diversity in Fund Finance, and Women in Fund Finance (WFF).
Your Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage, oversee, and assist with the planning and execution of FFA and WFF events, including, but not limited to: conferences, webinars, FFA Universities, and networking events
- Provide support and coordinate FFA affinity group (NextGen, Diversity in Fund Finance, and WFF) meetings, events, and other initiatives across all regions (meeting minutes, sponsor communications, etc.)
- Represent the FFA as the main point of contact for assigned FFA affinity group events and FFA training courses
- Assist with event logistics, including venue research and selection, agenda creation, and onsite coordination and management
- Draft marketing communications, including email campaigns, social media posts (LinkedIn), newsletters, and website updates
- Coordinate, publish, and promote podcasts
- Manage, oversee, and assist with special projects as assigned, including, but not limited to: the annual awards process and the FFA’s Mentorship Program (including outreach, tracking and coordination, and communication)
- Maintain event registration and attendee databases
- Assist with post-event follow-up, analysis, and reporting
- Support other marketing initiatives, as needed
- Other duties as assigned

- 5 years of relevant work experience in event planning, marketing, or communications
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred, with a concentration in Marketing or Communications desirable
- Proven track record of organizing successful corporate or industry events
- Ability to work under pressure on multiple events simultaneously, while meeting deadlines with frequent interruptions and competing priorities
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- High level of critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and level of accuracy
- Ability to work independently as a self-starter, as well as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency in Canva and HubSpot preferred
