Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Oversee all daily branch operations
· Provide leadership and supervision to branch staff
· Serve as backup for all operational roles within the branch
· Resolve customer complaints and escalate to the Community Manager when necessary
· Assist in hiring, training, performance management, and disciplinary actions
· Manage branch scheduling and staffing
· Oversee all branch audit functions and compliance initiatives
· Ensure timely and accurate processing of Garda shipments and deliveries
· Consumer Lending (non-real estate) processing
· New account opening and account maintenance
· Collaborate with the Community Manager on outreach efforts and community engagement
· Supply weekly report to Community Manager
· Adhere to the company’s WE Statements and customer service standards
· Remain knowledgeable and ensure department adherence to all internal policies and procedures as well as to all applicable State and Federal Banking Regulations
· Understand and support all BSA/AML responsibilities as applicable to the position as well as consistently, accurately, and timely carry out these responsibilities in compliance with the Bank’s internal policies
· Demonstrate adaptability in evolving environments and perform other related work and duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience:
· Prior branch management or people management experience is preferred.
· Prior banking experience and a general knowledge of retail products.
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Some college background strongly preferred, but not required.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
· Proficient with DNA and Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook
· Must be willing to learn new systems and adapt to emerging technologies
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
· Ability to analyze reports and communicate the results to others
· Ability to read interpret documents such as procedure manuals and release notes
· Ability to write business correspondence, and policies using proper grammar and accurate spelling
MATHMATICAL SKILLS:
· Proficient in calculating figures and amounts such as balances, payments, interest, etc.
REASONING ABILITY:
- Strong problem-solving skills that utilize both quantitative and qualitative information along with intuition
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Organizational, priority setting, and decision-making skills are also required
PHYSCIAL DEMANDS:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to use hands and fingers to operate office equipment, telephones, etc.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
· The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
