Summary
To assist Branch Administration in maintaining an efficient and effective operational control environment for the cash management of Branches, offsite Bank Vault and ATM network.
Essentail Duties and Responsibilities
· Understand and learn business objectives and services and the related risks and controls for the day to day cash operations of the Branches, ATM branch network, and offsite Bank Vault in compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations and the principles of safety and soundness.
· Maintain approved cash limits for all branches and monitor for overages.
· Monitor cash balances at offsite Bank Vault and submit orders/shipments to Federal Reserve as needed.
· Works directly with the Relationship Manager at cash vendor (offsite Bank Vault) reporting significant issues and potential improvements
· Assist Branches with cash orders/shipments and coordinates with cash vendor as needed.
· Coordinates the overall cash transit function for the cash vendor designated ATM’s, monitors cash balances and performs end of day reconciliation of each machine.
· Assist in the development and maintenance of Vault and ATM cash operational policies, procedures and practices.
· Monitors, researches and provides corrective action for branch cash over and shorts.
· Assists answering calls from the Teller Hotline providing guidance to frontline staff.
· May assist with Branch Operational reviews requiring travel to branch locations.
· Provide assistance to back up the IRA Specialist as needed.
· Understand and support all BSA/AML responsibilities as applicable to the position as well as consistently, accurately, and timely carry out these responsibilities in compliance with the Bank’s internal policies
· Perform other related work and duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience
Typically requires a high school degree or equivalent and 5 years experience in branch banking.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as bank policies and procedures, regulatory guidance, and banking industry guidance.. Ability to document test results and write moderately complex reports and correspondence. Ability to build relationships and facilitate collaboration with co-workers within and across departments. Ability to effectively present information to management and the audit committee.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to understand branch transactions and balancing, cash orders and shipments and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to practice critical and innovative thinking. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
PHYSCIAL DEMANDS
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to use hands and fingers to operate office equipment, telephones, etc.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.

· The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
