Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcomed.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food safety standards.
- Assist with food preparation and cooking as needed to support kitchen staff.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations through bussing.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and quality of food.
- Assist in banquet setups and service when required, demonstrating hospitality skills.
- Uphold high standards of communication with both guests and team members to enhance the dining experience.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of food service operations.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Experience with POS systems is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Culinary experience or knowledge of cooking techniques is advantageous.
- A background in hospitality or guest services will be considered favorably.
