Duties
- Manage daily operations of the restaurant or hospitality venue, ensuring high standards of service and quality.
- Oversee food preparation and presentation, maintaining compliance with food safety regulations.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing and cash handling.
- Control inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock while minimizing waste.
- Train and develop staff in areas such as customer service, food handling, and kitchen management.
- Supervise team members, providing guidance on shift management and operational procedures.
- Conduct interviews for new hires, ensuring the selection of qualified candidates who align with our hospitality values.
- Implement budgeting strategies to optimize operational efficiency while enhancing guest experiences.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in all aspects of food service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or hospitality management with a focus on quick service or fine dining environments.
- Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food production, catering, and banquet services.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in team management and staff training & development.
- Familiarity with inventory control processes and budgeting within the food industry.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively.
- Previous experience in supervising roles within the hospitality sector is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling is essential.
