Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate front-of-house operations, ensuring high standards of service and hospitality.
- Train, mentor, and develop staff to enhance their skills in customer service, food handling, and restaurant management.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels to minimize waste.
- Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accuracy in transactions.
- Implement food safety protocols and maintain compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen management to ensure seamless communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Assist in budgeting and financial planning for the restaurant's operations.
- Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process for new staff members.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting dining environment for guests.
Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting; fine dining experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Background in food preparation, cooking, and food production.
- Experience with inventory control and cash handling practices.
- Skills in staff training, team management, shift management, and leadership within the hospitality industry.
- Familiarity with culinary practices, food safety standards, and customer service excellence.
- Previous roles in restaurant management or assistant manager positions are highly desirable.
