We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Sales Development Representative to join our growth team. This is an, entry-level role designed for someone looking to build a career in B2B media and tech account management.
You will spend your time at the intersection of pipeline creation (finding and qualifying new sponsor opportunities) and account management (supporting existing clients and ensuring their media campaigns execute flawlessly). Salesforce is the central nervous system of our business, and you will live in it daily to manage leads, track client progress, and optimize our outreach.
- Account Management Support: Act as a dependable point of contact for existing sponsors, assisting with the onboarding process, gathering digital assets for their campaigns, and scheduling their webinars or virtual event appearances.
- Inbound & Outbound Pipeline Building: Research enterprise tech vendors, identify key decision-makers (marketing executives, PR agencies, product leaders), and conduct initial outreach via email and LinkedIn to schedule introductory meetings.
- Salesforce Execution & Data Hygiene: Serve as our primary Salesforce champion. You will accurately log activities, update pipeline stages, manage client contact lists, and ensure data integrity so the leadership team has clear visibility into performance.
- Campaign Tracking & Reporting: Monitor active client campaigns, gather performance metrics (such as lead generation numbers and traffic reports), and assist in preparing end-of-campaign recaps for sponsors.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate daily with editorial, multimedia production, and senior management to ensure client deliverables are delivered on schedule and meet our quality standards.
- Experience: 0–2 years of experience in a sales, account management, customer success, or administrative support role. A degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Salesforce Familiarity: Direct experience using Salesforce (or a similar CRM) is a major plus. You must be comfortable working with structured data, managing workflows, and maintaining strict data hygiene.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication. You will be writing professional outbound emails and communicating directly with corporate marketing teams.
- Organization & Detail: Strong organizational skills are critical. You will be managing moving parts for multiple client campaigns simultaneously and cannot let details slip through the cracks.
- Drive & Trainability: A high-energy self-starter who takes direction well, is eager to learn the enterprise tech landscape, and wants to grow into a senior sales or account management executive.
