This hands-on role combines vehicle operations, technical troubleshooting, logistics, and customer service. The ideal candidate is a calm, adaptable problem-solver who enjoys working both indoors and outdoors and balancing technical work with rider-facing responsibilities.
Day-in-the-Life & Key Responsibilities
- Vehicle Readiness: Inspect vehicles before service to make sure they are clean, fully charged, and operating correctly.
- Systems Checks & Troubleshooting: Verify sensors and onboard systems, perform mechanical and software checks, and use internal tools to troubleshoot issues or update vehicle software.
- Field Response: Respond to vehicles that need assistance, including recovering, repositioning, or remotely operating them.
- Rider Support: Assist passengers during service disruptions and act as an ambassador for Zoox's autonomous technology.
- Cross-Team Coordination: Work with other teams to return vehicles to service quickly and safely.
Pay: $29.00 per hour
