Our client is seeking a dynamic Senior Program Manager to lead cross-functional engineering initiatives focused on delivering innovative products to water utility customers. These products range from mechanical systems to highly sophisticated radio frequency transmitters and receivers. This role will coordinate and align the efforts of multiple engineering teams, driving projects from concept through production and customer implementation.
This is a hybrid role in Tallasee, Alabama.
Key Objectives

- Empower and mentor engineering teams by ensuring they have the tools, resources, and guidance needed to succeed. Model leadership behaviors rooted in respect, diligence, accountability, and care.
- Navigate complex systems and cross-functional dependencies, recognizing critical interactions and responding strategically to evolving project needs.
- Bring experience in hardware development and/or a foundational understanding of physical product lifecycle management—from concept ideation through production deployment and customer implementation.
- Serve as a steward of time, budget, and resources by engaging effectively with project stakeholders. Deliver clear, transparent schedules and financial updates, and proactively communicate scope, timeline, or budget changes.
- Act as the primary liaison between engineering and non-engineering departments to ensure all technical and business requirements are met.
- Contribute to the Project Management Office (PMO) by helping establish, refine, and scale best practices aligned with the organization’s management systems and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent)
- 4 years of relevant program or project management experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, or related discipline)
- Experience supporting hardware development or physical product delivery environments
Location
Up to 20% travel to manufacturing sites or customer locations as needed
