Our client is seeking a Salesforce Senior Administrator / Junior Developer to support a highly customized Salesforce environment for a growing organization. This role goes beyond standard administration—you’ll act as a solution architect, systems thinker, and business partner, helping guide decisions in a complex ecosystem with multiple integrations and advanced reporting needs.
This is an onsite, contract-to-hire role in Nashville, TN offering the opportunity to take ownership of a critical platform and influence how the business operates.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary Salesforce expert, supporting and evolving a heavily customized Salesforce instance
- Design and architect solutions, not just execute tickets—evaluate business requests and determine scalable, long-term approaches
- Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions, clearly communicating tradeoffs and impacts
- Manage and enhance integrations with external systems (e.g., DocuSign, mobile field inspection tools, other data sources)
- Support and optimize Salesforce products including Sales Cloud, Sales Engagement, and Salesforce Maps
- Own complex reporting and analytics, working across Salesforce native reporting and Tableau
- Lead change request intake and prioritization, ensuring alignment with broader business processes and minimizing downstream risk
- Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to challenge assumptions and guide better decision-making
- Contribute light development work as needed (Apex, Flows, integrations, etc.)
- Collaborate with internal and external teams using tools like Slack and Jira
What We’re Looking For Core Experience
- 5 years of Salesforce experience in admin and solution design roles
- Strong experience in highly customized Salesforce environments
- Hands-on experience with: o Flows, validation rules, automation o Apex or programmatic solutions (junior-to-mid level) o Integrations and external data sources
- Experience with Sales Engagement, Salesforce Maps, or similar tools
- Strong background in reporting and analytics, including Tableau Solution & Architecture Mindset
- Ability to evaluate requests holistically, considering downstream impacts across the system
- Experience designing scalable, maintainable solutions, not just quick fixes
- Comfortable pushing back on stakeholders when needed and proposing better alternatives Communication & Leadership
- Strong ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Proven experience working in fast-paced or challenging environments
- Comfortable navigating competing priorities
- Experience acting as a bridge between business users and technical teams
Nice to Have
- Experience working in organizations with multiple external data integrations
- Exposure to field operations or mobile inspection tools
- Prior experience in a contract-to-hire or consulting environment
