Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- 8 years mechanical designs & Integration of electronics, mechanical and user interfaces, including PCBAs, switches, sensors, buttons, screens, power supplies, wiring, cable management
- Experience designing LRUs to meet FAA certification requirements such as DO-160
- Advanced SolidWorks and PDM
- Creating drawings with GD&T (dimensions and tolerances) per ASME 14.5Y
- Thermal management techniques
- Must have experience designing injection molded, sheet metal, die cast, machining, stamped and die cut parts
- Experience with technical ownership of mechanical designs and responsibilities including system assembly throughout the design, development, production, and support phases
Responsibilities:
- Product development activities ranging from conceptual development, prototyping, and design validation to manufacturing
- Integration of electronics, mechanical and user interfaces, including PCBAs, switches, sensors, buttons, screens, power supplies, wiring, cable management
- Develops hand-held user interfaces, Systems and components
- Perform root-cause analysis of issues detected during development, engineering testing, qualification & Designs assembly fixtures
Salary : $50 - $55
