Boutique wealth management firm is looking to hire a Private Client Associate. This person will provide full cycle support to Senior Financial Advisors in an entrepreneurial and dynamic environment, with the goal of ramping up to a standalone advisor role over the next 4-6 months. Huge growth opportunity down the road, including inheriting a book of business, perpetuity of commissions (no cliff dates), and opportunity to earn stock in the company!
Responsibilities include:
- Provide day-to-day support to the Wealth Advisory team
- Perform research, collect data, and build client presentations
- Develop relationships with high net worth clients, establishing trust and rapport in all interactions
- Attend client meetings and take initiative on follow-up items
- Partner closely with the firm's external advisors
- Learn specific financial planning strategies to include estate planning, tax planning, and retirement planning
- Begin to source and manage an independent book of business after an initial training period
Requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree
- Prior exposure to wealth management, in either a financial advisor or support role
- Experience managing a book of business (or closely supporting) is required
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Prior experience interacting with high net worth clients desired
- Deadline-oriented
- Desired certifications: CFP, Series 65, Series 66
