Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). This position offers the opportunity to work within a nationally recognized healthcare system dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care, safety, and outcomes.
As a CVICU RN, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill cardiovascular and post-cardiac surgery patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Deliver high-quality critical care nursing services to CVICU patients
- Monitor and manage complex cardiovascular patient conditions
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams
- Promote evidence-based practice and patient-centered care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Demonstrate professionalism, respect, involvement, dignity, and excellence in patient care
- Support patients and families throughout the continuum of care
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of Critical Care RN experience in an acute care hospital setting
- CVICU, ICU, or Cardiac Surgery experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and computer skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Licensure & Certifications:
- Active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) License required
- BLS Certification required
- ACLS Certification required
- CCRN Certification strongly preferred
Pay: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour
