Division 8 (DFH) - Multi-Family Estimator
Location: Denver, CO (Onsite Only)
Solid Rock Recruiting is partnered with a well-established, privately owned door and hardware contractor in Denver, Colorado to identify a Multi-Family Estimator for their growing team.
This is an in-office position supporting their multi-family division and is ideal for someone on the greener side of their career who wants long-term growth in the door and construction industry.
Position Overview
The Multi-Family Estimator will assist in preparing competitive bids for large-scale multifamily projects by reviewing plans, completing takeoffs, and helping develop accurate estimates. The company prioritizes strong foundational skills and industry knowledge over long-term senior experience.

Key Responsibilities

Review architectural plan sets and specifications for multi-family projects

Perform door, frame, and hardware takeoffs

Assist in preparing pricing and bid proposals using Excel

Interpret construction drawings and scope requirements

Support internal coordination between estimating and operations teams

Assist with clarifications, revisions, and pre-bid inquiries
Desired Experience & Background

Exposure to the construction or door industry

Understanding of construction drawings and plan sets

Experience with large multi-family projects (300 units preferred)

Prehung door experience preferred

Comfortable working in Excel (multi-family bids run through Excel)
No specific door estimating software is required. Training will be provided.
Compensation

Base Salary Range: $55,000 β $75,000, depending on experience
