A large, well-established drywall contractor in the New York City (Brooklyn) market is seeking a skilled Drywall Estimator to join a fast-paced, collaborative estimating team. This organization handles a heavy mix of ground-up multifamily, conversions, hotels, condos, and commercial interiors—ranging from quick-turn small projects to large, complex builds exceeding $40M.
The team is growing rapidly, workload is high, and they are looking to bring on the right person as soon as possible.
What You’ll Be Doing

Preparing accurate estimates for both small interior projects ($50K–$200K) and large ground-up developments up to $40M

Performing detailed on-screen takeoffs using digital estimating software

Managing a high volume of bids with quick turnaround times

Collaborating closely with a young, energetic estimating department in an open-office environment

Contributing to a busy and fast-moving workflow without requiring extensive oversight
What They’re Looking For
Experience

Drywall estimating experience strongly preferred

High proficiency with On-Screen Takeoff software (PlanSwift experience is a plus)

Ability to handle both fast, small bids and multi-day large takeoffs

Comfortable working on large ground-up multifamily projects with hundreds of units
