The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at building relationships with both customers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Division 8 projects from contract award through closeout, including submittals, procurement, scheduling, and delivery coordination.
- Review plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure accurate takeoffs, scope alignment, and product compliance.
- Prepare and track submittals, RFIs, change orders, and other project documentation.
- Coordinate with estimators, purchasing, warehouse, and field teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for contractors, architects, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor budgets, track costs, and maintain profitability targets.
- Resolve product, scheduling, and logistical issues quickly to minimize project impacts.
- Ensure compliance with company processes, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- 3 years of project management experience in Division 8, construction supply, or related field (commercial doors, frames, hardware).
- Strong knowledge of construction documents, hardware schedules, and industry standards.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with project management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- AHC, CDC, or other relevant industry certifications.
- Experience with hollow metal and wood door manufacturing processes.
