X-Ray Technician in Providence, RI

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1 years X-Ray experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position involves working on a contract basis for 13 weeks, collaborating with an experienced department team. You'll provide essential imaging services—particularly in ambulatory interventional pain—using state-of-the-art radiology equipment.

Schedule

• 5x8 hour shifts
• Day shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Certification by ARRT(R) is required
• BLS certification
• Rhode Island Radiologic Technologist License (applications with a pending RI license are welcome)
• Experience in ambulatory interventional pain imaging is mandatory
• Demonstrated proficiency operating Philips Carestream, GE x-ray equipment, portables, and C-Arms
• Previous experience as an X-ray Tech or Radiologic Technologist
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality x-ray imaging for patients, ensuring compliance with physician orders and safety procedures
• Support ambulatory interventional pain procedures through precise imaging and collaboration with clinical teams
• Maintain, calibrate, and operate imaging equipment, including Philips Carestream and GE platforms, portables, and C-Arms
• Accurately document procedures and patient information in accordance with regulations and department policy
• Uphold patient privacy and safety throughout all imaging activities
