Key Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic vascular ultrasound exams as ordered by physicians
- Operate and maintain medical imaging and laboratory equipment safely
- Assist physicians during special vascular procedures
- Transport and position patients safely for procedures
- Maintain compliance with IAC standards and facility policies
- Support and precept students and new staff members
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients
- Perform cleaning and disinfection according to protocols
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to optimize patient care
- Graduate of an accredited institution with ARDMS certification (RVT preferred) or CCI certification (RVS), or eligible to obtain within 90 days of hire
- Minimum two years of vascular ultrasound experience preferred
- Completion of at least 15 hours of CME every three years as per accreditation standards
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and make independent decisions
