Key Responsibilities
- Execute diagnostic vascular ultrasound procedures as ordered by physicians.
- Safely operate vascular laboratory equipment and imaging systems.
- Assist physicians during specialized vascular procedures.
- Maintain patient safety, comfort, and privacy throughout examinations.
- Follow infection control protocols including cleaning and disinfection.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Support departmental operations including inventory management.
- Contribute to staff development by precepting students and new hires.
- Uphold ethical relationships with patients and colleagues, fostering teamwork.
- Graduate from an accredited diagnostic ultrasound program.
- Registered or registrable within 90 days through ARDMS with RVT certification preferred, or through CCI with RVS certification.
- Minimum two years experience working in a vascular lab preferred.
- Completion of 15 hours of CME every three years per IAC standards.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and make independent decisions.
- Shift: Tuesday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
- Contract assignment with potential for extension.
- Medium physical demand including patient positioning and equipment handling.
- Analytical and communication skills essential for workflow and collaboration.
