- Contract position
- Night shift sonographer will support ultrasound needs at more than one location as needed
- Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in ultrasound
- Certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (S) required
- Current BLS certification
- Open to first-time travelers
- Travelers must reside 50 miles or more from the primary facility
- Proficient in general Emergency Department ultrasound imaging
- Willingness to perform additional tasks such as general vital signs, sitter duties, performing EKGs, patient rooming, and assisting with line/lab work
- Perform high-quality general ultrasound studies for emergency department patients
- Room patients, obtain vital signs, assist with EKGs, and participate as a sitter for psych patients when required
- Transport and assist patients as needed, including supporting DX/CT teams during busy periods
- Float as needed to additional locations for night shift coverage
- Adhere to departmental protocols and collaborate with a multi-specialty team
- Utilize state-of-the-art equipment including Siemens Sequoia’s and Trophon; operate Epic EMR, Epic Radiant RIS, and Philips iSite PACS
- Administrative and departmental orientation provided
