This opportunity is ideal for an Operating Room Technician with solid orthopedic expertise and a passion for surgical excellence. You’ll work in a state-of-the-art operating suite handling diverse inpatient and outpatient cases, providing fantastic exposure to leading-edge technology like the Da Vinci and Stryker MAKO robots. Schedule & Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 18:00 (rotating scheduled day off)
- Call required: 1 weekend 24-hour shift/month, plus three weeknight call shifts (18:00 – 07:00); 30-minute response time
What You’ll Bring:
- At least 2 years of recent Operating Room Tech experience
- Strong background in orthopedic procedures (total joints: knees, hips, shoulders)
- Proficiency in Stryker MAKO robotic-assisted surgery
- Current BLS certification; CST certification preferred
- Active Washington State License
- Circulating and scrubbing experience
- Familiarity with EPIC charting system is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Assist in all aspects of perioperative care across five OR suites
- Support complex surgical procedures, with 65% ortho focus
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and support staff for seamless care delivery
- Respond to call shifts as scheduled, ensuring quick, efficient patient care
- Adhere to strict safety and sterilization standards
