As an Operating Room Tech in a well-equipped hospital, you'll encounter a rich variety of surgical cases, from advanced orthopedic total joint procedures using the Stryker MAKO robot to general, ENT, and plastic surgeries. You'll work alongside seasoned surgical teams and engage with innovative technology, expanding your expertise and enhancing your resume for future career growth. Schedule/Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 07:30–18:00 (rotating scheduled day off)
- Call required: 1 weekend shift/month (24-hour Saturday or Sunday) 3 weeknight calls/month (18:00–07:00)
- 30-minute call response time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years OR Tech experience (ORT)
- Strong orthopedic case background; Stryker MAKO robot experience required
- Circulating and scrubbing skills
- Active BLS Certification
- CST preferred
- Valid WA State License required
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR system
Key Responsibilities:
- Scrub and circulate for a diverse mix of surgical procedures
- Collaborate with the surgical team, adapting to both inpatient and outpatient case needs (average 15 cases/day across 5 suites)
- Ensure patient safety and device readiness in a fast-paced environment
- Participate in orientation upon arrival based on previous experience
- Adhere to department protocols and dress code (scrubs provided)
