A full-time School Psychologist position is available in Albemarle, NC, serving multiple school sites within the district on a travel basis. - Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to identify disabilities in students.
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and mental health support to students.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop effective strategies and interventions.
- Facilitate parent conferences and participate in multi-disciplinary district-level teams.
- Deliver staff training on relevant psychological and behavioral topics.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors, maintaining an onsite caseload.
- Utilize ECATS system for documentation and case management.
- Active North Carolina Department of Public Instruction Special Services License in School Psychology.
- Proven experience with ECATS or similar educational data systems.
- Strong skills in consultation, counseling, and crisis response within school settings.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Previous experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and working with PreK-12 students.
- Positions require travel between multiple school locations within the district in Albemarle, NC.
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week from August 4, 2026, to May 28, 2027.
- Onsite presence required; mileage expenses are not reimbursed.
