A full-time School Psychologist opportunity is available in Rockwell, NC, supporting multiple school campuses throughout the district. This contract role runs from August 4, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with a 37.5-hour workweek and an onsite PreK-12 caseload. The position requires an active NCDPI School Psychology license and familiarity with ECATS for managing educational assessments and reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychoeducational evaluations to identify student disabilities
- Providing consultation, crisis response, and counseling services
- Collaborating closely with teachers, school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Delivering training sessions to school personnel on relevant psychological and behavioral topics
- Participating in district-level teams to address student needs and interventions
- Leading parent conferences to discuss assessment findings and support strategies
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Active NCDPI School Psychologist license (must be attached with application)
- Experience using ECATS system for evaluations and documentation
- Strong background in psychoeducational assessment and Special Education processes
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with school teams and families
- Prior experience working in North Carolina public schools is preferred
