Schedule/Hours
- Must arrive the Thursday before your start date for a required employee health appointment on Friday
- Active RN license
- Recent experience in MS Oncology setting
- Proficient in administering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy
- Skilled with port-a-caths, PICCs, Hickman catheters, and venipuncture
- Demonstrated knowledge in handling hazardous drugs and PPE usage
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- Independently administer various cancer therapies/injections as ordered
- Perform port/catheter access, venipuncture, and dressing changes
- Routinely monitor patient condition, document accurately, and manage all IV therapies
- Communicate with oncology physicians and respond appropriately in emergencies
- Educate patients and families on treatments, side effects, nutrition, and care adaptation
- Ensure informed consent for chemotherapy and strictly follow safety protocols
- Maintain compliance with institutional policies and standards
- Adapt to additional assignments in an 18-bay, semi-private setting
