Qualifications/Experience
- Valid, unencumbered RN license
- Minimum one year of recent Interventional Radiology nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills
- Prior travel nursing experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced, ever-changing environments
- Provide nursing care for patients before, during, and after IR procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes
- Monitor vital signs, maintain IVs, administer medications, and respond to emergencies as needed
- Document all patient interactions and procedural details accurately
- Educate patients and their families regarding IR procedures and recovery processes
