Teacher of Visually Impaired - Fredericksburg, VA

Seeking an experienced Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) to provide specialized instruction for K-12 students in a dynamic school setting near Washington, DC. This full-time contract position runs from January 5 through May 29, 2026, supporting students in the Fredericksburg area with a caseload averaging 22 students per teacher.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored educational programs to visually impaired students across K-12 grade levels.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
• Utilize assistive technologies and specialized resources to enhance student engagement and accessibility.

• Active Virginia DOE Teaching Certificate in Visual Impairment required.
