This contract position supports students ranging from preschool through high school, providing specialized instruction tailored to their unique communication and learning needs.

- Deliver individualized instruction to Deaf and Hard of Hearing students across multiple school sites.
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards and student IEPs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure comprehensive support.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Utilize appropriate technology and resources to enhance learning experiences.
- Attend meetings and participate in professional development relevant to Deaf and Hard of Hearing education.
- Valid Delaware teaching license in Deaf and Hard of Hearing education is required.
- Experience working with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing across a range of ages (preschool through high school) is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple site visits efficiently as an itinerant teacher.
- Full-time contract position, 37.5 hours per week.
- Typical hours: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM daily.
