The Talent Acquisition Coordinator plays a critical role in coordinating entry-level and high-volume recruitment activities while providing operational support throughout the full talent acquisition lifecycle. This position helps ensure that hiring processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with the University’s mission as a Historically Black College and University (HBCU).
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communication
- Support hiring managers and search committees throughout the recruitment process
- Manage and maintain data within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), such as NEOGOV
- Assist with pre-employment processes, including background checks and onboarding documentation
- Ensure all hiring activities comply with University policies and applicable regulations
- Provide excellent customer service to candidates, hiring managers, and campus stakeholders
- Track recruitment activity and support reporting and documentation efforts
- Assist with onboarding preparation to ensure a smooth transition for new hires
