Responsibilities

• Manage the sterilization and preparation of surgical instruments, specifically for orthopedic and podiatry procedures
• Ensure compliance with all infection control and safety protocols
• Maintain sterile processing equipment and supply inventory
• Collaborate closely with the surgical team to meet operational needs
• Adhere strictly to certification standards and best practices in sterile processing
  
  

Qualifications

• Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CSPD or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2 years travel sterile processing experience, preferably in ortho/podiatry surgical areas
• Thorough knowledge of sterilization techniques and surgical instrument handling
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
  
  

Schedule/Hours

• 2nd shift: 2:00 PM 10:30 PM
• Monday through Friday, 40 hours guaranteed
• No weekend or holiday call requirements
