What are the responsibilities and job description for the OR SCRUB TECH | SURGICAL SERVICES position at MEDICAL WEST HOSPITAL AUTHORITY?
Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, the OR Scrub Tech performs various duties in the care of patients undergoing a surgical procedure. These duties include preparing and providing the required sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment. The individual also assists in maintaining the sterile field and anticipates and responds to the needs of the surgical team.
Requirements: High School diploma or general education degree; or completed up to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
