Stepdown Registered Nurse - Lorain, Ohio

A healthcare facility in Lorain, OH seeks a Registered Nurse to provide specialized care for post-procedural and med/telemetry patients. This contract opportunity offers flexibility with two 12-hour shift options and no on-call duties, ideal for nurses looking to contribute their expertise in a supportive environment.

Schedule

• Days: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
• Nights: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
• Holiday and weekend rotation required
• Overtime compensated at the regular all-inclusive rate
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from procedures and those on telemetry units
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes promptly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and clinical findings
  
  

Mandatory Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification for healthcare providers from the American Heart Association
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Additional professional certification recognized by the Magnet Association
